Galouchë Galore

Mevlude Kosumi grew up with Albanian folklore and Bavarian cheese spread, participated in Pop-Kultur’s Nachwuchs programme in 2017 and 2018 and is a DJ under the alias of Galouchë. Labels? Not her thing. Her sense of pop culture does, however, have a beginning and an end: Mariah Carey. Still, there’s plenty in between, from music to literature, fashion and art as well as surreal everyday discoveries, to all kinds of curious cultural phenomena and, of course, their political implications and backgrounds. Kosumi will be serving all of this for her weekly takeover of Pop-Kultur’s Instagram stories. Expect anything, especially the unexpected – but if Mariah’s part of the package, you can for sure count on some festive moments.
