Pop-Kultur Lokal

Without the work, lifeblood and elbow grease that the city’s many young promoters contribute, Berlin would look much more dull and grey. With our Pop-Kultur lokal programme, launched in 2018 along with Dominique Schweizer and Off-Kultur, we’re aiming for a productive exchange with the local scene. In the months leading up to the festival, new and innovative perspectives from Berlin’s pop-music landscape are highlighted with live shows and interdisciplinary performance concepts. And since we aim for a continued exchange with the local scene, one of the selected Lokal promoters will have the chance to curate a part of the main Pop-Kultur programme at the following year’s festival.
